Terms of Service
Last updated 2 October 2026
These terms govern your use of Wakili Msomi. By creating an account you agree to them.
What Wakili Msomi is
Wakili Msomi is a platform that helps people find advocates and law firms and understand the law. We are not a law firm, and nothing on the platform — including answers from Ask — is legal advice. Advice is given only by the advocates you engage, under the terms you agree with them.
Accounts
- Give accurate information and keep your password secure.
- Advocates and firms must hold the qualifications and registrations they claim. Misrepresenting them leads to removal.
- One person, one account. Don't impersonate anyone.
Engaging an advocate
Any agreement about fees and services is between you and the advocate or firm. We don't take part in, guarantee or charge for that engagement, and we are not responsible for the advice given.
Community rules
- No harassment, hate speech, spam or advertising disguised as discussion.
- Don't share other people's private information, or your own sensitive case details, in public spaces.
- Don't present opinions as legal advice to a specific person in public threads.
We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.
Content you post
You keep ownership of what you write. You allow us to display it on the platform and to use it to operate the service. You are responsible for having the right to post it.
Legal texts
We work to reproduce legal texts accurately, but the official publication always prevails over the version shown here.
Liability
The platform is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on information on the platform or from engagements between users.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will notify you of significant changes, and continued use means you accept them.
